They provide technical guidance and back-up support to grassroots-level NGOs in implementing environmentally sound food production, livelihood generation and related projects. Their core competencies are in land and water management, agriculture, livestock and fisheries; renewable energy and forestry. |

| | Butterflies is a non-government organisation, working for underprivileged children in Delhi for 10 years. They impart non-formal education and health care to street children and working children. They also have a 24-hours free telephone help-line service known as Childline, available to all children. Childline offers online non-formal counselling to children for a variety of problems related to studies, relationships, sexual abuse etc. In addition to this, if a child is in need of immediate help, then Butterflies takes full responsibility for him/her, offering medical and legal help. If a child is reported missing then his/her parents are contacted, otherwise the child is given shelter in an organization, which takes care of orphaned/homeless children. |
